As we all know there are many defects in the fabric of the Church which need attention. The PCC tries hard to manage our limited resources to ensure that vital work is done and we are currently struggling with the problem of incoming water from the South Aisle roof. We have an important event coming up shortly in the Christmas Tree festival which we rely on to enhance our income at this time of the year. Rain entering the Church would be a major problem for the electrics and decorations of the trees so we are hoping to be able to place a temporary covering over the roof in the near future. Please remain vigilant over the next few months and let me know if you see anybody on or looking at the Church roof that you think shouldn't be there. Better safe than sorry.
On a more positive side, the metal entrance gate to the Church which broke off recently has been replaced. Many thanks to Rodney Dexter for a professional job.
