The newly formed Benefice choir performed its first 'away' fixture today at Kelmarsh United benefice service. There was a good attendance at the beautiful Kelmarsh Church who enjoyed the Trinity Sunday service led by Angela Hughes and enhanced by some new anthems sung by the choir. In particular the atmospheric 'O taste and see' by Vaughan Williams was well received.
The choir was somewhat down on numbers this week through illness and we wish John and the two Liz's speedy recoveries.
The next choir performance will be at the Naseby celebration service on the 14th June. All are encouraged to come to this service which will be held outside the Church as there will be many Sealed Knot visitors that day.
